Testing +Flipboard for Android
App runs perfectly on my Galaxy Nexus (4.0.4). Used the same login details as for my iPad so all my feeds are pulled in immediately. Tried testing it on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 and unfortunately the app is not suitable for tablets. The screen is stretched and doesn't show content in landscape. Hopefully team behind +Flipboard will be able to add that functionality as I love +Flipboard on my iPad.

FYI, although +The Verge is reporting that the widget is not in this build, I just added it to my home screen.

Again thanks +Senol Tapirdamaz & +Rachid Otsmane-Elhaou for the heads-up!

  1. a little late to the party, as always

  2. +Arvid Bux I installed it on my Ainol Novo 7 ELF tablet with ICS 4.0.3 and it worked. So is it possible you had 1 setting wrong?

Or am I mistaken. I installed and opened the app. Did not read any news untill this time.

  3. fashionably late of course !

  4. +Senol Tapirdamaz I can install it on my Galaxy Tab but it is not a tablet app ;) You have to use it portrait style.

  5. No landscape mode on the Galaxy Note, either. Otherwise works fine.

  6. Wrote about it on Androidworld.nl, but I won't link to it…

  7. Net op mijn stokoude (lees bijna 2 jaar) HTC Desire geïnstalleerd, maar ik ben meteen door al mijn interne geheugen heen, ook als hij op de sd-kaart staat. #voelmesneu

  8. +Tejasvini H Eh, sorry, didn't realize this thread was in English. +Arvid Bux It's certainly time for a new phone, but I don't want to lose my FUP data plan from Vodafone. So I'll have to save money for a simlock free device. I'm thinking of an HTC One X or a Galaxy Nexus.

  9. Cannot share to Google+. Only Linkedin and Twitter. Will have to wait and use Zite in the meantime ;-)

  10. It will be interesting to see if it beats feedly and google currents, which i now use both.

  11. +alec timmerman the browsing experience. Love it. I liked the app a lot on my iPad and think it is great it is now on Android.

One account, all my feeds. Easy to mute annoying users.
